Level 3 BTEC Unit 3 - Engineering Project

This is a mandatory unit

Credit value: 20

This unit aims to enable learners to specify, plan and implement an engineering project and present its outcome.

On completion of this unit a learner should:

  1. Be able to specify a project, agree procedures and choose a solution
  2. Be able to plan and monitor a project
  3. Be able to implement the project plan within agreed procedures
  4. Be able to present the project outcome.Be able to interpret and use engineering sketches/circuit/network Diagrams to communicate technical information

There are 3 Assessment activities:

  1. Interim Presentation (before Christmas) - 9th and 16th December 2014

  3. Written Technical Report (after Easter) - Hand in 14th April 2015
